Belgaum, July 06: The water level of major rivers in Belgaum district has risen due to the heavy rains that have been pouring in the Western Ghats region for the past few days, and the district administration is continuously monitoring the situation. In this regard, the District Collector has given detailed information about the rainfall situation in the district, the flow of rivers, the inflow of reservoirs and precautionary measures.
Although a grant of ₹100 crore has been released for 439 landslide BP areas in Uttara Kannada, people are worried as the work has not started due to various obstacles.
