Heavy rains continue in coastal parts of Karnataka, with an orange alert issued for Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious as there is a possibility of heavy rains in the next 24 hours.
Although a grant of ₹100 crore has been released for 439 landslide BP areas in Uttara Kannada, people are worried as the work has not started due to various obstacles.
