The government is taking strict action to curb exam irregularities. Minister Joshi has informed that those involved in exam irregularities will be punished with 10 years in prison and a fine of up to Rs.10 crore.
A glitch has come to light during the allocation of NEET examination centres. A candidate who had applied for the examination in Nagpur, Maharashtra, was allotted an Abu Dhabi examination centre thousands of kilometres away. The blunder came to light after checking the hall ticket, and students and parents have expressed concern.
