Street vendors have expressed their anger during the footpath clearance operation in Bengaluru. The vendors have alleged that the BBMP's action is affecting their livelihood, creating a tense atmosphere in the area.
"More than 300 canned goods shops have already been cleared within the limits of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation. The Municipal Corporation Commissioner said that clearance operations will be conducted every week for the first four months with the aim of controlling encroachments and ensuring smooth traffic flow in the city."
