Government lawyers have said the process for refunding President Donald Trump’s signature tariffs was unprecedented in scope and would require manual review of tens of millions of tariff payments.
Despite Friday’s SC decision that ruled Trump’s “reciprocal” tariffs are illegal, US importers were still paying duties on goods entering the country.
Claiming that he resolved the India-Pak conflict using tariff threats, Trump said that New Delhi, after his request, "pulled way back" from buying Russian oil.
ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ಇರಾನ್ ಜೊತೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ನಡೆಸುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ದೇಶವಾದರೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಮದು ಸುಂಕವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಶ್ವೇತ ಭವನ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕ್ರಮವು ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಭದ್ರತೆ, ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ನೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ . ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಮಿತ್ರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇರಾನ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ವೇತ ಭವನ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಇದನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ನಿರಂತರ ಮತ್ತು ತೀವ್ರವಾದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಈ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವನ್ನುತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
