Dehradun: The investigation into the donation theft case at Badrinath temple, one of the four holy shrines, has intensified. The special task force formed by the state government has arrested the main accused in the case and suspended temple staffer Pramod Nautiyal. Sources said that more accused are likely to be arrested in the case.
A huge number of devotees are arriving for the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand this time, and long queues are seen at the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples for darshan. With thousands of pilgrims pouring in from different parts of the country, the congestion of devotees has increased at the holy sites. Special arrangements have been made by the administration for the safety of pilgrims and smooth darshan.
